About the Phone Co-op


Our first project for the Phone Co-op was a big one – a complete rebrand to draw on its heritage and reflect its character and ambition.

Thorough exploration

Our groundwork encompassed getting to know the history of not only the Phone Co-op, but also the whole co-operative movement. We then went through a process which allowed the Phone Co-op team to work through and prioritise its many functions and purposes, revealing that, above all else, being a beacon for social change, was its raison d’tre.

Thorough development

The ID guide we prepared for the Phone Co-op’s new identity shows how to apply the branding in almost any conceivable circumstance, including more challenging environments in which size, colour or quality restrictions apply.
